Dösi started out as a loner — the guy who simply isn't approachable before noon. It became clear pretty quickly that he's only half the fun on his own. So he's getting a crew.
Rabauke acts first and thinks afterwards. Muffel doesn't speak before the first coffee, as a matter of principle. And Miesepeter reliably finds the one flaw in every idea. Together they're a fairly accurate portrait of the mornings most of us know.
All four were drawn by Matías, who goes by @_.shaggo._ on Instagram. He gave the characters exactly the tone we had in mind: grumpy, but likeable. From the first sketch to the finished artwork it was an easy, genuinely good collaboration.
The shirts carry lines like “Zu früh. Zu müde. Zu wenig Kaffee.” and “Chaos-Modus: dauerhaft aktiv.” — German humour, served dry. Printing happens in our own studio in Füssen, so every piece passes through our hands before it ships.
